DST Biological Active Sludge Plant
In this camping park wastewater from 6-700 campers is treated at the height of the
season. Off season the plant can operate at the capacity required for 7 persons
only. In a campingpark the capacity required is subject to large fluctations and it
is therefore crucial that the Wastewater Treatment Plant operates well under all conditions.
As the facility does not produce any noise nor odour, it is possible to camp in the
close vicinity of this plant. The facility is also designed in such a way that the
collection of excess sludge takes place outside the camping grounds.
